Are you looking for a Samba class in Vienna?
Our Samba classes are suitable for all levels and combine exercises with small choreographies. Each session lasts one hour, and beginners are welcome to join the intermediate level whenever they feel ready. This is not a partner dance class, no partner is required.
Samba is much more than just a dance – it is an expression of joy, a profound philosophy, and a rich culture that supports the well-being of body, mind, and soul. The term "Samba" encompasses many different Brazilian dance styles, all of which are collectively known by this name. The dance tells stories that reflect both the past and the future, singing about desires, dreams, and life itself. Samba is a vibrant reflection of life, expressed through music and movement.
In our course, participants will not only learn Brazilian Samba but also dive deep into its history and culture. They will experience more than just the beauty of the dance.

Monday:
19h00 - Improvers - Level 2
This class is designed as a smooth transition between the Beginners Course (Level 1) and the Intermediate Level (Level 3). We will build on the fundamental Samba step, refining its shape, technique, and speed. Additional complementary steps will be introduced to help you connect movements and follow sequences with greater ease and confidence.
Dancers with general dance experience — even if not specifically in Samba — will be able to follow and benefit from this class.
Wednesday:
19h30 - Intermediate - Level 3
This class is designed as an intermediate-level training for dancers with a solid Samba no Pé foundation. Complementary steps and sequences become more elaborate, and the tempo is regularly increased to challenge stamina and precision.
High heels are welcome.
Friday:
18h30 - Advanced - Level 4
This course is designed as a training session for advanced Samba dancers. Classes include intricate footwork, complex sequences, choreography, and guided improvisation. Technique training focuses primarily on dancing in heels.
Musicality is further developed, and influences from other Afro-Brazilian genres are also incorporated into the work.
